Theatre Society Information Sheet
Welcome to the MHS Theatre Society! The Society consists of actors, singers, dancers, stage managers, builders, designers, and many other roles. There are tons of different ways to get involved and become part of our community. Being involved in each and every show in some capacity is a great way to become an invested part of the club, but you can also participate in a more sporadic manner as fits your schedule. You do, however, need to become a member in order to participate.
What do I need to do to be a member? What does membership involve?
After you have completed your obligations for one show, you are considered a full member of the club and are eligible to receive your MHS Theatre Society Lanyard and your first show pin. After that, you will receive a pin for each show in which you participate. Students involved in productions are expected to:

If I have any questions about what Drama is like, who is a good person to ask?
Usually, the best person to ask about a show currently in production is the Stage Manager for that show.
General drama questions can be asked of one of our elected Drama officers:
Jameson O’Loughlin & Kiera Stanton
NOTES:
LAST BUT NOT LEAST! For all Drama news: listen to the announcements, check your school email account, check the WEBSITE at medfielddrama.weebly.com, and stop by the Drama Board (outside of rm. 105). There is also a facebook page just for club members. In addition, you can find us on facebook @medfielddrama and on Instagram @medfielddrama

NOTES:
- Theatre is a collaborative art form. Creating shows together is a lot of work, but it’s also a ton of fun.
- We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, accepting, and positive community. Each member helps make that true.
- Please consider your other commitments when auditioning or becoming involved in any aspect of our productions.
- Depending on the show, it is possible (though unlikely) that we will be unable to cast everyone who auditions for an acting role. Even if you are not cast, we hope you will still consider joining our productions in another capacity. There are plenty of other places you are needed in a show! And if you still want to be on stage…try again next time!
- Be aware that cast members may be required to provide or purchase undergarments appropriate for your costume, some basic make-up, and/or appropriate footwear.
